Elizabeth Taber brings over a decade of experience in the senior care field to her role as Elder Care Coordinator at McCarthy Law, where she serves as a trusted partner to families navigating the complex and emotional journey of aging. With a background in dementia care, long-term care planning, and client advocacy, Elizabeth offers a steady, compassionate hand through some of life’s most important transitions.
Families working with Elizabeth quickly come to appreciate her calm presence, deep knowledge, and genuine empathy. Whether helping a loved one transition into a senior living community, coordinating rehabilitation or long-term care, or supporting safe aging at home, she takes the time to truly listen and tailor her guidance to each unique situation.
Elizabeth is a certified presenter of the Five Wishes advanced care planning program and is deeply committed to encouraging meaningful conversations about future health and personal preferences. She believes that thoughtful planning not only protects dignity but brings comfort and peace of mind to everyone involved.
Known for her warmth, clarity, and professionalism, Elizabeth connects families to trusted local resources and walks alongside them through every stage—whether they are responding to a sudden change in health or taking proactive steps for the future. She considers it a privilege to be part of each client’s journey and ensures that individuals and their loved ones feel heard, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth is the proud mother of three wonderful young boys. Together, they spend much of their time outdoors—playing, exploring, and adventuring as a family. She finds joy in swimming, kayaking, and hiking in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. At home, she tends to a small menagerie of beloved animals, including dogs, a cat, chickens, and ducks. Her days are filled with care, curiosity, and connection—values she carries into her work with every family she serves.
