Cristina serves as a Client Engagement Coordinator on the intake team, where she guides potential new clients through the initial process of retaining the firm’s services. With a passion for helping others and a strong background in customer-focused roles, Cristina brings empathy, clarity, and professionalism to every client interaction.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rhode Island College in 2017 and brings over 16 years of customer service experience across diverse industries. Before joining McCarthy Law, Cristina worked as an assistant to a financial advisor, a preschool teacher, and a paralegal at a veteran’s disability law firm. Each role has strengthened her dedication to making meaningful connections and helping people navigate important decisions.
During the pandemic, Cristina underwent unexpected open-heart surgery — a life-changing experience that deepened her understanding of how critical it is to have your affairs in order, no matter your age or stage of life. This personal insight fuels her commitment to supporting clients with care, urgency, and respect.
Cristina is a native Spanish speaker, born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City and Providence, Rhode Island — where she proudly plans to spend the rest of her life. Outside of work, she enjoys puzzles, audiobooks, and spending time with her partner, his son, and their twin toddler boys.
