Social Work Intern

Amy Buczynski lives in Providence, Rhode Island with her partner of eight years and their two cats, Edgar and Frankie. She is completing her undergraduate degree in Social Work with a minor in Aging Studies and plans to pursue her Master’s in Social Work next year. Amy is drawn to the field of social work because she is deeply committed to helping people through meaningful, compassionate, and holistic support. She is especially passionate about patient advocacy and promoting autonomy and self-determination in care. Amy believes that collaboration within communities is essential to fostering dignity and well-being, and she is excited to join the McCarthy Law Firm community for her internship this year. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, taking nature walks, watching documentaries, and writing. One of her lifelong goals is to become a published author.
