Receptionist

Joe Diaz is the friendly face who welcomes every client and visitor to McCarthy Law. A Rhode Island native, he grew up in Warwick and enjoys using his bilingual skills in English and Spanish to connect with clients and help them feel cared for and understood. Joseph brings warmth, professionalism, and an eagerness to help to his role.

Joe earned three Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Rhode Island in Political Science, Criminal Justice/Criminology, and Psychology, graduating in May 2025 with honors in each field. While at URI, he served as a Resident Assistant, supporting students and organizing community-building activities. He also gained experience through internships with Newport Mental Health, PrepareRI/Lifespan, and Yushin America. These opportunities further nurtured his communication skills, attention to detail, and passion for assisting people from all walks of life.

At McCarthy Law, Joe manages helps clients and our team in any way he can, ensuring that the office runs smoothly. He is known for his approachable personality, adaptability, and ability to make visitors feel right at home.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing with his dogs (Lucy, a golden-doodle, and Briar, a poodle–bichon frise mix) making creative videos, and playing volleyball with friends. He loves connecting with people and bringing positivity to every community he joins.
