Jennifer Wheelehon

Client Engagement Manager

Jennifer Wheelehon came on in May of 2024 as the Client Engagement Manager after being the Director of Membership & Marketing at the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce for the last 6 years. Her experience there - building strong relationships, developing key programs, and connecting with businesses and business professionals from around the state - will be utilized at
McCarthy Law as she grows our client base, deepen our relationships with existing clients and referral partners and create a robust engagement program.

Jennifer has a bit of a unique professional and educational background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Prior to the chamber, Jennifer spent 15 years working in the non-profit world in corporate and donor relations, event planning and fundraising.

On a personal note, Jennifer is not a native Rhode Islander – being born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. However, she’s been in the Ocean State for over 18 years and consider it home. Jennifer also has two sons and two stepsons and lives with her husband Don in Coventry, RI.

In addition to spending lots of time with her family, traveling as much as possible, and spoiling her puppy Coco, Jennifer also enjoys being involved in the community as a Board member for Thrive Behavioral Health and the Attachment & Trauma Network as well as an usher volunteer for PPAC.
