Leah Sousa

Receptionist

Originally from Connecticut, Leah now resides in southern Rhode Island with her husband, two sons, and dog Molly. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Connecticut in Human Development and Family Studies. For many years, she volunteered within her children’s school system and working as a substitute teacher.

Leah’s transition into this field was deeply personal. After her mother was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare brain disease, and her father passed away from a stroke, Leah and her sister navigated the difficult process of finding live-in care for their mother and managing the complexities of probate. These experiences have given her a unique perspective on the challenges families face during such difficult times.

Outside of work Leah enjoys going to the beach with her family, going to book club with her friends, and working on home projects with her husband.
